DescriptionThis straight bar load cell (also known as a strain gauge) can convert up to 5 kg of force (pressure) into an electrical signal. Each load cell can measure the electrical resistance that varies in reaction to and proportionate to the strain (e.g., pressure or force) applied to the bar. You may use this gauge to determine how heavy an object is, whether the weight of an object varies over time, or if you just need to detect the presence of an object by measuring strain or force applied to a surface.Each straight bar load cell is built of an aluminum alloy and has a capacity of 5 kg. Four strain gauges are connected in a Wheatstone bridge structure in these load cells. The wiring is color-coded as follows: red = E , green = O , black = E-, and white = O-.
