When connected incorrectly, the right LED will light up.Press and hold the toggle load switch for 5-10 seconds (silent count or watch count). Note:No more than 10 seconds!Note:Do not exceed 10s or the wire resistance will be melteddue to high temperature.Load tester, simple wire resistance design, it will be used when the coil will become hot and red, due to the protective coating, there may be an odor or smoke at the first use, this is normal, please feel free to use. To check the charging system , start your car with the tester connected. The indicator should set around 13.5 – 15 volts. You can now push the toggle switch for a couple seconds to see that your charging system can handel the load. However you just can turn your lights on high beam and then see if the charging system remains constant or drops off (indicating a problem).
