I decided to give the shaky rig a try this year. I bought all three sizes of the Fusion19 and used all three. I prefer the 3/0 size. To me they perform like a typical circle hook only they have the weedless guard. All the hooksets I had were near the hinge part of the bass’s jaw which is how a regular circle hook performs. Also, no missed strikes. I would suggest having a hook removal tool handy as these have no shank to aid in removing the hook from the fish’s mouth. I use the shaky tool and O-ring system.
